**Important Pre-announcement: 2025 Grant Programmes Opening Soon – Updated 8 July 2025**
We are pleased to share that as part of our ongoing strategic review, we’re refining our approach to the 2025 grant programme.
We’re pleased to share that we will be opening two new 2025 grant programmes in mid-July. In addition, a new Strategic Partnerships programme will be announced later in the year, together with a launch of a new Major/Large Grants programme in 2026.
This phased launch is part of our continued effort to make our funding more impactful and aligned with the needs of the South East Dorset community.
What’s Coming Soon
We’re preparing to launch the following grant programmes this summer:
a) Small Grants Programme
– Up to £5,000 per grant
– Total funding pot: £100,000
– Open to organisations with an annual turnover under £250,000
– Decision: mid/end of October
b) Capital Programme
– Requests of £10,000 or more
– Total funding pot: £250,000
– Open to organisations that can demonstrate the capital expenditure is planned and integrated into their broader organisational strategy
– Providing a minimum 1 year of signed accounts
– Decision: end of November

If your project is time-sensitive, we would encourage you to explore other funding options as well. Our grant process is highly competitive, and while we strive to support as many charities as possible, we can only fund a percentage of those who apply. Additionally, many successful applicants receive only a portion of the amount they applied for.
